| 0.0 | Blackbelt54 | August 26th 14 | I feel like there exists a trend where a band is playing really noisy stuff and they slowly ditch the influence as they increase production value and grow as songwriters... sometimes for better or for worse. We saw it with The Men and Parquet Courts and now we're seeing it with Merchandise. Sure, this is no Children of Desire, but I don't think I mind the direction that they're going in. At least they haven't released the same album twice. Pretty good stuff right here.
