Perfect combination of psychedelic rock and greek fold music. Weird (I guess) for someone who
hasn't been exposed to the latter, but it is worth listening.

The successful interplay between desert/post rock and the folk music of Greece's Epirus region is what makes Riza such as great album. That been said though, most songs are similar in structure, the album relies almost exclusively on the inherent melodies of the aforementioned Greek tradition, with the band's own character being suppressed to the brink of non-existence.

Very interesting blend of stoner, folk and traditional Greek music interwined with a number of unexpected instruments that made room...well.. unexpectedly... Cannot focus on anything else whilst listening to this.

Amazing album mixing psychedelic/stoner rock with greek folk music. It may alienate some people because of the vocals being greek but if you're a fun of the stoner/desert rock scene you should definitely dig this up!
