The heydays of Southern rock are long gone, however, there are bands like the Atlanta based quintet to remind us how this genre sounds like. With a frontman possesing the necessary country-style vocal qualities, guitars that deliver some sweet melodies and some honest and sincere lyrics, The Whippoorwill is a decent yet ignored album from 2012.
