4.0 excellentJames Enwright | September 20th 17

Beneath their surface value and outlook of weed and partying, the Bennies have some actual musical talent. Anty is a suitably energetic singer, switching between talking, rapping and screaming, and the band's unique mix of psychedelics, ska, punk, reggae and rock and roll is a nice counterpart to their lyrical outlook and ascends them a step about their Triple J contemporaries. All elements line up and make for a fine record for a night out "smoking a little sensi-mi under a tree in Collingwood". Besides, the breakdown in the song "Sensi-mi" is just too good.
