SikTh has always been a band known for their eccentrics, with the vocals from Justin Hill and Mikee Goodman being as strange now as they were years ago. The songwriting is full of intricacies as well, with the blend of spastic mathcore and progressive metal working quite interestingly, acting as a precursor to the djent style that is so popular nowadays. In the scheme of things, this is a superfluous release, as two of the three songs here appear on their debut LP. However, "Suffice", which the band say is the first song they ever wrote, is unavailable anywhere else, and is a pretty nice song as well. In all, it's foreshadowing for what the band would eventually become, and is a pretty solid release in and of itself.
