Tengger Cavalry's sound is really good. The higlight being how they blend the traditional Chinese/Mongolian instrumentation really well with the metal. My only gripe is that the metal part is really rather generic, and a lot of the songs end up sounding the same.

Tengger Cavalry are truly a unique band. While a good chunk of folk metal bands use the traditional instrumentation as a gimmick of sorts, these Mongolian folk metallers, utilize them to contribute to the overall sound. Whispered, take note; this is real way how metal inspired from Far Eastern folklore should be done.
