I HAD to check out this band after seeing them list themselves as a "Space Death Metal" band, with a
hometown listing of "Fucking Space." As far as sound? Gorguts having buttsex with Blut Aus Nord. That spawn
child fucked an Immolation/Deathspell Omega mutant baby and then that new Gorguts-nord Immospell
Omega mutant fish frog laid an egg, which fell through a black hole in space and resulted in the album
presented in front of you.

Labyrinth Constellations: Holy fucking shit?this album will melt your brain and then replace it with a high tech android super computer. This right here, is definitely my tech death album of the year and like the Fallujah album sees the boundaries of the genre being pushed to new extremes. Unlike the Fallujah release though, these extremes are a lot darker and messed up. Labyrinth Constellations zooms past like some kind of trip through space, and not the optimistic bright Star Trek kind of trip but one where you?re on an aged working class vessel with one of Ridley Scott?s Aliens and of course, no one can hear you scream. Admittedly this album does start to sound samey towards the end, but it?s worth it for the psychedelic infused outro to Absorbing Black Ignition alone. Best tracks: Absorbing Black Ignition, Labyrinth Constellations, and Wormed Harvester

Words can't describe how technically off the wall their brand of death metal is. Plus, they have the best album art I've seen in a long while and a cool sci-fi theme to boot. Gonna go watch Terminator 2 now!

Techinical Death Metal with alien-themed creatures and guttural growls pulled to the extreme of music are the ideal recipe for any extreme music lover. "Labyrinth Constellation" is fantastic, and as good as any other music they are capable of release. Always good to listen to materials that involve fantasies from other planets that sound as perfect as Artificial Brain. Maybe i'll never have to listen to Rings of Saturn again.

Fuckin' death metal about aliens and space n shit bro. No but really, Artificial Brian carries the torch in the weird and experimental side of death metal we've seen bands like Demilich and Gorguts play that I so love.

Somewhere in between outfits such as Gorguts and/or Bolzer, Artificial Brain give their own take on how transcendental death metal should sound. Although they stand a few steps lower than the latest offerings of both aforementioned outfits, Artificial Brain do a pretty good job with their own material.
