Reason people gave this poor ratings is because they only heard the first three songs. People doubt them because they all loved Challenger and then they just bash on them for making a new album that either sounds the same or different. Like what do you want from them? This album is a great album. Listen to the whole album before you judge it.

A little less upbeat, more melody, more emotion than previous releases.rThey could have done a hell of a lot better; I believe they have a legit 4.5 album in them, but appears they've fallen into the Killswitch Engage trap. This record is pretty good, still. An enjoyable listen as long as you don't take Matty Mullins' lyrics too seriously (though there's some decent content nonetheless); he still has mad pipes btw.rCheers.

It almost feels like Memphis May Fire has begun to play a game of "How shitty and pretentious can we make our band?" with this being its best effort yet.

I really believe that Memphis May Fire has a good album in them, but Unconditional is simply just a boring album that is ruined by the use of electronics. I know its intent is to be a more theatrical album than previously, but to me, this just sounds like their previous albums. Let's hope Memphis May Fire will put the electronics and synthesizers away in favor of maturing like Miss May I seems to be doing.

I dig the vocals in this but I'd still consider it their weakest effort to date. To me, even Challenger had more diversity. After listening, I didn't remember a single song. 3.0 because it's still above average, but disappointment coming from this band.r

Every single piece of music they have released I have fallen in love with. So what they haven't done anything different for the past 3 albums. I am definitely not complaining. Lyrically, this album is golden. Thank you Matty Mullins.

After taking about 3 more spins of this album, which has taken me over a year; I have come to realize that this album lacks any real depth or atmosphere, and is made to appeal to the mindless scene kid teens that want to be told that they're the voice of a generation. This album is trash, and the decline of MMF is obvious, I'd rather stick to listening to sleepwalking.
