3.5 great | Xenorazr | January 28th 15 | Maintains Edguy's fun-going nature with an effectively light blend of various subgenres. Most surprising, however, is Space Police's varying tones that distinguish each song without straying from Edguy's core sound. There's more to come back for and, despite some dragging instances, Space Police stands proud as a statement for retro-style metal to live on.

4.0 excellent | GoldenGuy444 | November 24th 14 | A nice fun breath of fresh air after the controversial 2011 "Age of the Joker" (Which I really enjoyed despite a few mediocre tracks). Here Edguy throw caution to the wind and come up with some of their goofiest material yet. rSongs about overhearing a couple having sex, having dinner with the mythical Baba Yaga, and even a fun cover of the quriky 80s hit "Rock Me Amadeus". An excellent outing from the boys.

3.0 good | Demolitionizer | September 25th 14 | This record surprised me. I thought it was going to continue the trend of weak Edguy releases that have been happening the past few years. This is much better than Rocket Ride, Tinnitus Sanctus, and Age of The Joker. While it doesnt quite match up to their older material, This was a decent listen.

4.0 excellent | Nitrogen | May 4th 14 | After the last Avantasia album came out a year ago, which I thought was Sammet's best work in nearly a decade, I thought Edguy might actually bounce back into the serious heavy metal territory of their early years. Then I saw the title and the album art. Upon listening to it, I can at least say half my prediction came true. This is their heaviest album since Hellfire Club but it retains the humor found on Rocket Ride; and isn't stale like the last two albums. Easily their best in years, album rocks hard.

3.6 great | Voivod STAFF | April 19th 14 | Despite the abundant positive energy (the kind of energy we all need from time to time...) that this album transmits, few parts of it really remain in memory. Technicalities aside, Space Police... is as good as Teutonic power metal gets these days.
