5.0 classic | danielschauer | July 2nd 17 | You'll never hear another trio interact like these three, before or since. This isn't Bill's most famous album, but it's his most refined release by far.

4.5 superb | KnownUnknown | August 24th 10 | Found out about Evans when I heard the debate about who wrote Davis's "Blue in Green" and had to go check him out. Bill Evans was a genius, the man was brought up in a classical piano environment but could play a mean jazz piano also. To this day, Israel and Nardis are my favorite jazz tracks. Thank you Bill Evans!

4.5 superb | everyonepoops | April 30th 08 | wheres the love for bill evans? easily one the handful of musicians who can be considered some the greatest minds of the 21st century. ive never been a fan of piano solos, so it takes a DAMN good musician to make me sit listen to a trio like this. amazing album, not as amazing as his two village vanguard recordings(sunday at the v.v, waltz for debby).
