Kudos to the band realizing what they were doing in "Infamous" wasn't really working, and therefore returning to their roots of catchy, synth-driven 'metalcore'. This is a very brief album that luckily doesn't overstay its welcome. "Reefer Madness" might be cringing on the ears thanks to dissonance chords, and "Alive" might be a shallow attempt at trying to mix things up; but there's plenty to love here such as "Trapped", "Miracle", "Paradise", "Bloor Street West", and "Cowboys". In fact, "Cowboys" might actually stand as the best song the band has written to date - with a positive message, and a somber outro.

There are a few scattered clean vocal hooks later on in the album that are decently catchy, and the synths aren't overly offensive. However, this album is plagued by really bland writing. I was barely able to tell the songs apart from one another except for the horrendous "Alive", a full-out EDM track that is easily the worst on the record and perhaps that I've heard all year.

Band gets worse after every release. However, the synths portrayed in this album suits them
much better than the elementary stuff they were working with in their first album, too bad
they couldn't deliver the passable metalcore they brought in 'Geeving' or this album would
of been pretty decent.
