Ideas here are interesting but the main problem is that most of the songs are drawn out for too long. The first half of both 'Brooding Hex' and 'Illuminati' are brilliantly executed but at some point the instrumentation becomes rather stale, and though this does indeed suit the doom sub-genre rather well, there could have been a stronger emphasis on power and surprise than simple repetition. That said, 'March of the wolves' and 'Transmittal' are monolithic in atmosphere.
