Babes In Toyland are about as harsh and raw as punk/grunge music gets and to make it even more impressive they are an all female band, never before has a female band released such a powerful and angry album filled with distorted guitar riffs, pounding drums and howls of female angst from frontwoman Kat Bjellend (who's voice can be anyway from a cute bubblegum tune to a full on scream).
Even at their quietest moments, Babes In Toyland are completely unpredictable and dangerous which if anything just makes them more appealing.
