| 1.5 very poor | GoldenGuy444 | April 6th 19 | Most of the comedy comes from "haha thats vulgar! And these are kid games!" and it feels just... really unfunny. Doesn't help I'm not the biggest fan of Arin's comedy style so I'm not particularly the target audience.

| 3.0 good | Jared Floryan | January 2nd 15 | The comedy band Starbomb's a trio made up of Ninja Sex Party personnel Dan "Danny Sexbang" Avidan and Brian "Ninja Brian" Wecht, alongside animator Egoraptor (Arin Hanson). Their self-titled debut album is chock full of video game references ranging from Street Fighter to even Final Fantasy, and much of the music here is produced nicely. Starbomb is not without its glaring flaws, particularly when the sexual humor is regarded: usually I don't mind this way of eliciting laughter considering how desensitized I am to it, but when it's stretched to half-hour proportions, the jokes can and will grow typically dull and unfun. Arin's rapping is also a notable problem, for he overexaggerates his own flow so much the delivery is borderline narm. Putting all the issues aside, though, the release is pretty amusing and some tracks like "The Simple Plot of Final Fantasy 7" and "Regretroid" can warrant a few yucks.

| 0.0 | ThomasTheCure | November 16th 14 | this is just a much worse NSP album, with video games and, unfortunately, Egoraptor. Danny's vocals are great, as usual, but the lyrics he delivers just aren't anywhere near up to par with his NSP stuff. the lyrics are weak and are riddled with pointless "shits" and "fucks" that exist only to fill time. that being said, his vocal performance on tracks like The Book of Nook and Ryu vs. Ken highlight how great he's capable of sounding, in spite of the lyrics performed. Egoraptor, aka Arin Hanson, is the primary cause of this album's all-too-frequent flaws. not only is rap already overdone for parody music, but Hanson often makes it much more painful than it has to be, by adding in a huge number of "fucks" to fill time and being way too over-the-top with his delivery. that being said, his flow on Ryu vs. Ken, especially in the second verse, is a definite highlight on the album, but moments like that are few and far between for him. the clear standout performance here is Ninja Brian's, though. his fantastic compositions, which are more electronic than on NSP to suit the video game theme, never disappoint. from Regretroid, to I Choose You to Die, to Ryu vs. Ken, his exceptional synth work alone makes this album worth sitting through. so, there you go. a serious review of a Game Grumps album. check out Ninja Sex Party, if you want great comedy music, because this doesn't compare in the slightest, even with Danny and Brian lending their talents.
