Static-X definitely does a great job of combining Industrial and Nu-metal together on this
album while keeping a good main industrial sound. This is a very enjoyable album.

Wisconsin Death Trip combines industrial textures and electronic flourishes in order to create an aggressive output. Highly energetic with fast paced tracks, the music blends heavy, distorted guitars with electronics in order to provide a mechanic feel to Static-X's debut album. Often considered a staple release in the development of both nu and industrial metal. Recommendations: "Push It"

Wow, what an incredible debut. It's a shame they completely shit the bed on all later albums. Hard to believe the downgrade in quality. Get this, one of the best late 90's Metal albums.

Imagined a watered down La Sexorcisto album, and you have this album. Some sections in the beginning tracks are pretty good but are registered as the weaker tracks. Once you get past track 2, the rest of the album becomes a bit better. Some highlights of this album include tracks 3, 6, 7, and 11.
