very lazy, just record an acoustic guitar and recycle vocal tracks. then again this is BOTDF we are talking about, a band as commuted to being as lazy as davine is a horrible person

Dahvie Vanity and Jayy Von Monroe deserve *some* props for trying their hand at an acoustic album, albeit one with tracks lifted from Bad Blood. Beyond that, unfortunately, whatever credibility Blood Unplugged has is usually torn apart by Dahvie's utter incompetence as a vocalist, and his lines here are so narmtastic they border on unintentional hilarity. Jayy would be better off going solo since he's actually got a semi-decent voice.

Hey guys. If you can get past Dahvie's vocals and listen to Jayy's vocals and the surprisingly solid instrumentation, this is actually a pretty good album.

Whatever true potential this had eventually had to come back down when one realized that this was Blood on the Dance Floor we were talking about here. "Blood Unplugged" came to show that even Crunkcore even had a sub-genre: Acoustic Crunkcore! While I will applaud Blood on the Dance Floor for getting very talented musicians to play the strings, only certain songs on here will somewhat impress, and the rest sounds like a hot mess. "Scream for My Ice Cream" had an acoustic appearance here, yet the whole song felt like it was contradicting itself with beautiful strings and accompaniment while abysmal lyrics tagged along. Painful satire?
