4.0 excellent | Pluh | February 8th 07 | Hmmm... definitely where i got the screen name for my profile... but anyways, the comedy, bass, vocals, drums... not so much guitar... are definitely amazing shown throughout the album. The comedy is seen everywhere, the drumming is crazy throughout the album, and the bass is definitely heard through songs like Pluh... which is great as most bands drown out the sound of a bass. This is a great band that will definitely provide you with good tunes and a smile on your face.

4.0 excellent | Inflames | December 4th 06 | The great underrated Pyschostick. If you have a chance buy it, then buy it. Its great...if you dont like doing laundry or you like to drink beer. They are definitely pioneers of extreme metal. :D

0.0 | ThroughStruggle | May 25th 07 | great band! when you listen to them you can tell by their sound that if they wanted to they could be a seriously badass metalcore band, but they just have a great sense of humor and i love them for that

4.0 excellent | BaseballJames | September 15th 11 | Let me just say that Mike Kocian is an absolute beast on the bass, merging punishing hardcore with upbeat funk and slap bass. One of the things I love about the lyrics on here is that the humorous content is cleverly disguised through metaphors, even if it's about ex-girlfriends, bad cars, or even faking your own death. Funniest song has to go to either "Orgasm = Love" or "Why, Oh, Why?".

1.0 awful | Illitoris | January 9th 10 | I had a certain friend who hated preps who suggested this album for my amusement. The kind of people who think this is funny also think racism is funny. Isn't that right, Robert Hollier?

0.0 | Gilly-Maloo | June 21st 07 | These guys are friggin nutters, it would be great to see some soaring guitar solos, as I am sure that the guitarists are more than capable. The bass is this album is top notch, makes me proud to be a bass player.
Best track on the album has to be Throwin Down, I love it.
I can't wait to here the serious side of them (Evacuate Chicago).

5.0 classic | metal23 | January 7th 07 | Ah,Psychostick.I hope their future albums are as great as this(and I hope they can think up an album title too!)After I heard "beer",which they've been playing constantly on the radio here in Boston,Mass,I instantly got hooked and bought their album. One of my favorites is Two ton Paperweight.Another one is Pluh.Actually,I love every song on their album!(except for prozak milkshake!)The humor is great and it really does fit with the metal.Although they don't have solos, there are some really insane parts in this album(You should here Alex in Pluh!!!!)(Though Josh is cool too,and Rob....and Mike.)I also like how they make fun of Tupac in Fake my own death and go platinum(even though I like some of his stuff, but I'm not into modern rap. It's crap. The humor reminds me of the band "Strong Bad"(Play Guitar Hero 2,and you'll see who they are)who created up "Trogdor".All in all, this album is an instant classic in my opinion and will be for years to come.I give it an A+!

3.5 great | XSebbyMcMuffinX | December 19th 06 | I'm kind of nostalgic for this album. It has definitely brought many laughs and smiles every time I revisit. Unfortunately, the replay value diminishes a bit if you want something to consistently listen to, but it's a great time in the moment. Some tracks have more of a lasting impression than others; Even though songs like "Why Oh Why?" are very effective satire ("Dude, seriously, you need to get a life" [instead of writing break-up songs all the time]), the style they satirize isn't necessarily inviting. That said, songs like Beer!, Two Ton Paperweight, and Throwing Down still resonate really well as effective satires in well-structured, fun songs.
