A band not many people know about, that surprisingly had very minimal success.
Taking the album apart, I am looking at all the parts and wondering how it all works together. And why the hell I like it. "The Olympians" draws from so many genres to make an oddly cohesive album. It's almost Sonic Youth meets Sunny Day Realestate's "Friday" meets a drum machine. Justin Lloyd has a very unique voice that I would not normally like, but it somehow fits the music so well. The more I think about the album the more I am confused by where it all came from, but the more I listen to it, the more I love it. I highly suggest finding it.
