I think this album was and still is a bit overrated. Push and Malice are decent with wordplay (although Jada's verse on the last track shows just how far they still had to go), but they literally aren't talking about anything. I'm sure these guys were official, but there seems to be trying so hard to convince you that they are dealers and not rappers. The infatuation with designer clothes and jewels is a waste of their talents.rThe saving grace is that Pharrell's beats tend to add some variety (even some brass in there), but I never felt his style matched the subject matter. Plus his voice on some hooks is grating. An album that shows potential, but is ultimately just obnoxious.
