This album is very different from anything else i've ever heard, and this is a great thing. the electronic, keyboard driven indie pop is filled with great lyrics and relaxing melodies. the only thing i have against this album is that the vocals are somewhat not understandable. I can live with it though. The chorus of "Rhodekill" will catch you in a swinging singalong dance "its foolish, yea its too late foolie coolie its too late too late" sounds generic and boring but the way the music is put together with some guitar parts a driving bass and catchy drum beats, will make u love the velvet teen.
