This is like sitting in your favorite lounge, sipping the smoothest alcoholic beverage ever concocted. All the while the beautiful lady you're sitting next to is really turned on. When you get back to her place you know it's going down.

Air's Moon Safari is one of my favorite electronica albums of all time, but that's not a very stunning thing. The album features lush keyboard melodies over soft beats and smooth, twinkly guitar lines. Sexy Boy and Remember are both crunchy synth-pop songs that get you hooked right away with their catchy keyboard riffs and drumbeats. For the most part Moon Safari is an ambient album, Ce Matin La features a nice little trumpet part while All I Need focuses on a jazzy acoustic guitar and a soothing female vocalist. All in all Moon Safari won't letdown an fans of electronica music, the album has a soothing and mellow vibe yet it still shows a lot of range with influences or jazz and synth-pop.

There are some really compelling songs on here and they really, really work with one another. Beth Hirsch's vocals on a couple of tracks really add to them as well. But the catch is, for me, that there isn't much staying power afterwards. I'd call it good if I could remember upon 2nd or 3rd listen how the songs actually go . I'd still really recommend this.

Among my favourite electronic records. Semi-ambient, entirely relaxing, and the songs don't drag on for twenty minutes. The vocals are fantastic, too, stopping the affair from growing tiresome ("All I Need," "You Make It Easy," "New Star in the Sky"). The instrumentals are varied and interesting ("Talisman," "Remember"), but the serene mood is consistent. A superb album.

Not a bad album, but the pretty restrained sound palate, and the continuous sterile calm nature of a lot of the tracks keeps this album from really hitting hard for me. Pleasant on the ears, but little else.

A smooth-as-velvet slice of techno-pop catharsis that is perhaps a bit too delicate and safe, but this is seriously some straight up pleasant synthesizer ear candy. The instrumentals should probably be considered modern works of art.

As a rock yeoman in good standing, I direct postrock chauvinists to Simon Jeffes's Brian Eno-sponsored Penguin Cafe Orchestra, whose similar (albeit unamplified) hipster kitsch can now be found in the New Age bin. For the nonce, however, the comfy-funk bass, space-age sound effects, and moments of cool femme treacle on this moist piece of patisserie are good-humored enough to win over even an old-ager who remembers when easy listening was worth hating. it's fine, easy listening electronica. nothing spectacular about it could be seen in these days other than it being a very smooth album, the fact that it was quite ahead of its time makes it a candidate to be a classic of the genre.

Excellent Soft Electronic. "Sexy Boy" has a great back beat and "All I Need" / "Kelly Watch The Stars" is great too. "Talisman" is also a great instrumental track. A Must have album for Electronica fans.
