If 'London' sounds familiar, it's because it should. BANKS gorges on the crystal-production, minor-key flourishes and haunting bass lines that has become a bit of a zeitgeist for this decades R&B. It's morally heavy, it's weighted, it's that blurred dnm talk post inebriation. This is what herion-chic actually sounds like. And it sounds bloody good.

Track 1 is a very solid jam and the reason why I followed BANKS in the first place. Track 2 is ok-ish but at least it's memorable. Track 3 and 4 are quite meh actually and the EP is more underwhelming than I remember. Track 1 is the shortest and does not save it from being a 2.7
