Nominally, Pulse is a really solid heavy/thrash metal record, however little does it offer in terms of song writing freshness. That being said, songs "Still Dreaming" and "Rainmaker" kind of stand out from the rest of the lot. Also, the singer's clean vocals show more colour than his harsh ones.
