One of Drakes best albums. While It isn't as consistent as Scorpion. It has higher peaks with some of the best tracks of Drakes career on this project (Ex: Furthest Thing, From Time, Hold On, We're Going Home, Too Much, The Motion [bonus track song]). Lots of beautiful songs with breathtaking and jaw-dropping atmosphere. Unfortunately it's not all good, this thing has it's far share of low effort filler as well (Ex: All Me, Come Thru, Connect, 305 To My City, Worst Behavior). These tracks filler tracks are sadly unavoidable in a Drake album. Overall an amazing project.

A bit of a step down from Take Care. There are some strong songs here, but his sophomore release somehow felt tighter with very few chinks in its armor despite having 18 songs. Nothing Was The Same will keep Drake relevant, but doesn't offer much to prove to us that there's a whole lot left in him. I love the Toronto shout-outs though, I'm from there! Recommended Songs: Started From The Bottom, From Time, Hold On We're Going Home, Pound Cake.
