Missing Steinman behind the producer's chair to really make some of the drawn out moments work better, but it's overall really enjoyable even with a Desmond Child as producer, heck almost especially, the orchestra sounds fantastic here. Even the tracks that Desmond provides here (Blind Like a Bat, Alive) are both superb. Album's biggest problem is its lack of Steinman's touch. His writing is here, but it feels like an attempt to be than just being, if that makes sense. rI still like it. Not as good as Part 2 though. Fitting the final Bat out of Hell album came at the death of Rock's mainstream relevance, when Part 1 arguably was there during the first heyday.

"Bad for Good"rNo. Just bad. I don't get why people call Meat a powerhouse either. Maybe he used to be, but he's just awful now.

I don't know what happened to Meat Loaf prior to this album but it must've been a thought of "hey, I should make some bad music". This album was worse than the previous Bat Out Of Hell II and dosn't even have one good song on it. There are just semi-good rock songs.

Come on people, how could you rate it as low as 2? This is a great album by Meat, personally I thought it was way better than Bat out of hell 2, there is not a track on it I didnt like, I cant say that about a lot of albums
