Surprisingly surprised with this album, definitely worth a listen for any post hardcore fan.

Joel Piper single handedly destroyed this album. I feel so sorry for the rest of the band.

The first 6 tracks are generic, but passable enough (personally) to be something that has a bombastic charge that's fun to listen to. I have affection to melodic hardcore acts, and I had enough to go off to enjoy it. Ending it with the track "Move On", not a particularly good cut, but might have been enough to send the message and have old fans leave with a satisfying EP. Instead, the last several tracks are so bland and forgettable, I had to lower the score.

Confide's fan-funded album All Is Calm is definitely a step up from their 2010 album
Recover (which was a pretty generic affair). The band tries a few different things, throw in
a couple well-placed electronic parts, but a lot of it just comes off as Sempiternal rip-
offs doused in Risecore. You'll be trying hard to remember anything you heard after all of
the breakdowns and BMTH posturing. Joel Piper has a few catchy clean spots on the album, but
his vocals are way too processed to properly appreciate his efforts. This isn't really
worth listening to unless you're a huge fan of this genre.

they raised 30 k from some suckers to put out a decent album, but there is no way in hell the production and rother random shit should have costed more than 5k. and the way piper sings most of the time can get rextremely annoying.
