Why isn't this getting more hype around these parts? "In the Taking of Flesh" is a beast.

I enjoyed their previous record "Lights and Perfection" but here The Burial prove themselves as a great technical metal band, combining so many elements together to create an absolute monster of an album. Definitely a band that I will be keeping my eye on in the future.

There are some excellent songs on this album but there are others that sound extremely similar and become tedious with constant speed and intensity that goes no where (only to become annoying after a while). Still, not a bad death metal release for 2013.
