4.5 superb | Hatshepsut | October 9th 06 | I like ballads. I like those songs that make you feel warm and fuzzy inside. Those songs that you can play around your parents and they might even like it. Play it for someone who's more sensitive and quiet and they'd love you for life. Every song on this album is a masterpiece, beautifully written, with a great melody and harmony parts. They're amazing ballads and, as Vai says himself, this is the "sweet spot." The songs here are beautiful ballads, every freaking one of them. I love them all.

4.5 superb | dante1991 | July 27th 10 | Steve Vai's most melodic and powerful songs all in one package, plus some newbees. Supurb compilation album that contains the best song off most of his albums and a good place to start for newcomers that are put off by Vai's wierd sounds and want some emotional guitar music played with heart. If you enjoy this, then I highly reccomend checking out his albums. Missing "Lotus Feet" though, his best no. 7 song IMO.
Top 3 Tracks: "For the Love of God", "Tender Surrender", "Windows to the Soul"
