I love Pitchshifter's Industrial. Definitely a great album. Unfortunately it is a disk with no identity, because all eight tracks exude the first Justin Broadrick solo work, the chaotic, energetic and dragged Streetcleaner, the legendary band Godflesh.
Despite the guttural Mark Clayden be a little deeper than the Broadrick, everything from the riffs, the drums, the melody and even dragged the electronic elements are exactly the same as Streetcleaner, giving the impression that Industrial is a demo discarded by members of Godflesh.
Of course, it is undeniable to say that we have a good harvest here as Landfill, and Catharsis, dragged and so heavy that it's like listening to a dirge of demons.
With a total of 8 tracks (relaunched in 1998 with the presence of the live version of Gravid Rage version) and exact 38 minutes in duration, Industrial is a powerful album, and it could be even greater if the influences of Godflesh would not be so evident and there was an identity crisis. For those who like the genre Industrial Metal classic, it's a full plate.

This is a fairly overlooked album in the industrial metal world. Though it is not completely industrial metal, the industrial influence can still be heard, making it potentially one of the first albums in the genre. Pitchshifter is definitely up there in the pioneers with Ministry and Fear Factory with this album.

The albums great. I love that raw, garage sound. Especially 'New Flesh'. I thought it had the potential to be better though.

I wasn't 100% sure what to expect after buying this album. I knew before Infotainment? they were a completely different band. I started paying the first track and before the first track was over, I was blown away. Heavy riffage, deep, growling vocals. Very Fear Factory Soul Of A New Machine. But Pitchshifter did it before!
