If Fair to Midland lost every last bit of their worldly influences, used really inorganic drum samples, and was way to into AxeFX. Ugh.

Ground breaking, catchy, can be busy at times. Rythmic and melodic changes keep it interesting, less interestingly melodic than I would like. I give it a 5 only because their live show equals or betters their recording. Spellbinding and positive. Excellent musicianship, singing and harmonies.

This was going to be a 3.5 but really amazing emotional songs like Jenny and God Went North really hit hard. rThis is the Time and Mr. MTV are hard bangers to listen to.

I dug this when it came out. Now a few years later after many re listens and having seen them live a few times it still holds up to the feeling I had when I first herd them. I will agree some of the chorus's can be a little repetitive but that is more then made up for in the defining tracks. jenny and god went north especially. ron another not see them live its epic.

The first I ever heard "This Is the Time" on the radio, I instantly cranked it and wondered one thing. "Who the hell is this?!" It motivated me enough to go out and buy the album, and it's evident from the very get go that Nothing More are head and shoulders above their mainstream radio rock peers in EVERY department imaginable. The vocals soar (reminiscent of Myles Kennedy), while the guitar work balances it out by keeping the tone nice and heavy, and the drums keep the pace well. The band also really knows how to set an atmosphere for songs, as is evident in the heart-wrenching "God Went North". Outstanding album that FINALLY brings good rock back to the radio.

Gotta hate this band, not because I've listened to them (modern alt-prog, eww) but because
they've been whoring every single inch of Paris for their live gig with that typical cheesy
prog arrogance, plus I just feel like needing something to hate for no reason right now so
shove'em!

I'll give this a 4.5 just because I think this band NEEDS to be heard and make it. They
shit on almost any other mainstream sounding rock band. Diverse, great vocals, superb
instrumentation, and experimental. This band certainly has that "it" factor. Really great
and if you dig this I suggest you try to look up prior albums. These guys kick ass.
Recommended to anyone who enjoys APC, Coheed, Fair to Midland, Breaking Benjamin, and for
any fan of rock music in general.
