Ryuichi's late mid career (or mid late career?) triumph with a great push towards a polished, melodic, clearly preppy and poppy sound. As poppy as one can get in compounds of ambient music. Its many subtle glitch effects and classical influence come together in a gorgeous way, how only Sakamoto can.

3.5 greatthe dubstep genre has become somewhat generic, leading to the mind numbing homogenisation of the subgenre for the past decade. It seemed like dubstep was losing its edge. Then came Vylet Pony. STAFF | January 22nd 21
