While Bibio's first few albums stuck pretty much within the same comfort zone, the leaps taken between those albums, Ambivalance Avenue and Mind Bokeh made it difficult to suggest to someone a good starting point if they were trying to get into his music. While this album isn't as huge a stylistic jump, "Silver Wilkinson" is still the next logical progression in his career, since it's a perfect distillation of everything that came before, and it's also the album I would tell someone to listen to if they wanted to get to know what Bibio is all about. Great stuff.
