Believe it or not if u hate ICP and/or not a fan of theirs. You will like this album.
in my opinion The Riddle Box is one of their top albums. Its sad that ignorant little ***s hear alot of ICPs new material and never check up on the old school material like The Riddle Box.
I cant imagine a rap fan not liking this album.
It has many many great songs.
let me describe a few.
Chicken Huntin - Cult Classic, A song about murder, better yet the murder of redneck

Just when I thought this was a laudably thorough improvement from the first two albums -- better beats and skits through-n-through, barely any overt murderous misogyny, successful foray into rock-rap-remixing, some genuinely funny moments ("fook off!") and genuinely creepy ones too ("12", "Cemetery Girl") -- in comes this rewind-required lil' somethin' somethin': "There she go, she workin' at Dairy Queen / Bitch couldn't be a day over fifteen / So I threw her in the buck like that / I hit it so quick I made her buttcheeks clap / Why wait around till she gets married / Cuz I'm ready as long as her neden's hairy." Shame, the beat is kinda great.

Not too bad of an album, but still doesn't hold a candle to many other other horrorcore hip-hop albums that came into this decade. This could be a potential 3.5/5 rating I'm sure w/ enough listens. However, if this is the pinnacle of their discography, then I cannot imagine how crummy the rest of their albums are.

Ugh. It feels weird to like this album. The dark sense of humor and violence are genuinely funny in some instances, but certainly over the top. The music is genuinely varied and well composed and the rhymes flow nicely even if the lyrics are morally dubious, which thy always are... of course. Many tracks are worth skipping do you can hold onto your lunch, but it is still good for a few spins.
