| 4.0 excellent | aaronrkc | May 3rd 13 | It's safe to say their recordings will never be as incredible as their infamous live show, but this EP is way closer to it than their last LP. Crazy shit, man.

| 4.0 excellent | thurs | April 6th 18 | I'd say this is one of The Body's most solid and consistent releases. Some sludge, some experimental stuff, with all the misanthropic self-loathing. This is a good place to start. If you don't like this, you're not going to like The Body.

| 3.5 great | Alabaster Jones | November 23rd 16 | Even when it comes to smaller projects such as this, The Body is dedicated to quality, which they definitely deliver here in a short eighteen minutes. "The Blessed Lay Down And Writhe With Agony" is the gem here, with its sparse yet melancholy guitar, ominous samples, and choral elements eventually giving way to a bulldozing riff and methodical, pounding drums. "Worship" is a very slow burner, but definitely worth the listen for the atmosphere alone, and "The Ebb And Flow Of Tides In A Sea Of Ash" is an aggressive and misanthropic opener complete with air-raid sirens. Thus, Master, We Perish ends up being an EP very much worth the while, as is par for the course with The Body.
