More aggressive than the first suite - the menuets feature some savage bowing techniques, and in some ways this suite is more attention-grabbing than the first.

There is 6 cello solo suites in the Bach catalog. Each, is uniquely beautiful.
This one make no exemption.
The sarabande movement is particularly moving, done in a slow subtil way.
