I love it, it's so different from what they put on until now. Modern melodic death, old rstyle melodeath, thrash, goth and even some soapy pop-like passages. I love the diversity, rit's definitely a win!

I know I’m in the minority, but Projector is my favorite Dark Tranquillity release. I love the keyboards, the morose atmospheres, the clean singing, the melodies… the whole thing is basically Depeche Mode if they made a melodic death metal album. Having said that, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Construct is my second favorite Dark Tranquillity release. Construct is the spiritual successor to Projector in every way. It has all the sullen atmospheres, the Depeche Mode-influenced electronics and clean singing, and the melodic death metal that still manages to sound like nobody else. Probably the only thing keeping this from being my favorite is nostalgia.

TRULY AMAZING! Dark Tranquillity, the best melodic death metal band today, give us another great atmospheric album... My favorite song here is definetely for me "Uniformity".Also, "The silence in between", "What only you know", "Endtime hearts", "State of trust","Weight of the end" and "None Becoming" are 5/5 songs. Already, one of the best albums of 2013...

I love this band, but this is one one of the most flat, most boring albums I've heard in a while. There is a notable lack of energy and dynamism that just brings you down and sucks all the fun out of listening. I was just thinking that the lifeless, grey figure on the cover is the perfect visual representation of me after I finished listening to this the first time.

Construct sees Dark Tranquillity going through the motions, playing with a wider palette. This is still fundamentally the same band, but the outfit is different and distinct from their previous works. Curiously, Construct works best during its more somber moments like "Uniformity," where the band emphasize the melodic part of their melodic death metal style.

One of the worst records I have heard in 2013. These songs trudge along at mid-pace with few interesting riffs and melodies. This album lacks dynamism and the climax building that was more prevalent in their previous works.

Not the best album but at least better than his precedent, the thing is that they seem to be trying something new, but in the end it didn't really work out. This album sounds sometimes like the DT we know but in some songs it sounds a little different, yet not good enough to surprise or with a quality worth remembering. Seems like something new is coming in the next album, who knows? I liked a couple of songs of this album, I actually did but in the other hand there are some songs that are boring and bland, so a little of a hit and miss for me here.
