"Crown of Throns" is a pretty sick track. Otherwise I don't care much for the album. This rrating is my kudos to that track.

Just like the last release, they didn't bother going down and new paths and stick to what they do best. Which isn't that exciting.

A pretty harmless jesus-loving metalcore romp with a bunch of bass drops and scattered melodic riffs. Nothing really stuck in my head after listening to it but nothing overly offensive happens in its (probably for the best) short length.

this is seriously so terrible. everything here is absolutely ridden of rehashed and boring ideas. any fun and flair that they had on their first couple efforts is completely gone at this point, and now anytime they do actually deviate from those godforsaken chugs, the riffs just sound like other riffs they've already used on previous albums. and the acoustic is just embarrassing. maybe for today was never really a great group, they never did anything new, but dammit at least they had a certain entertaining spark to them. now it's just trite, annoying run-of-the-mill metalcore shit.

This is the definition of generic ass metalcore. To say this band overuses bass drops and breakdowns would be one of the bigger understatements you could make.Also lyrically these guys have got some major Jesus crush going on. Admittedly besides the most generic chuggs and screams for Jesus you'll hear this year their are some August Burns Red esque guitar melodies that sneak in every now and then which add some nice dynamic.
