Great, creative music here, except for that clich?d last track. Nice and easygoing, too-- it's nice to hear a talented guitarist working more with jazz than with the tropes of metal.

Only 12 minutes, but in just that time, PLini showcases so much. The first track, and enjoyable proggy one, the second more into jazz territory, and a very good track reminiscent of an Allan Holdsworth. The last track however, the highlight of the album, a full on prog-metal track with an insanely catchy main-theme.

Quite the EP from Plini here; though we only have a baker's dozen of minutes to enjoy the man's fusion of jazz with progressive metal tropes, his technique and songwriting flair are on full display. It's a quick few cuts, but the ideas are fleshed out and represent Plini's style quite well.
