GREAT, GREAT album. This band was born to make stuff like this. Their sludge attempt never made it for me, but I love this psych effort. Sick riffs, sick solos, sick groove.

The Savannah sludge scene is becoming stagnant. Painfully boring albums like this are to blame for it.

It has its moments ("Vulture's Landing" and "Quicksand") and I really love Laura Pleasants voice and presence as a band leader, but too much of the album is just ok.

Most of these songs are pretty poorly written, with not real flow to them. This is exemplified by the fact that they all just end somewhat abruptly; they just jam for 3+ plus minutes and stop. Gets old.
