Immolation play it relatively safe, putting together an album that does nothing new but riffs just as hard as ever.

This is their worst album? It's just about on par with majesty and decay. Even if it's mostly just a continuation of the riffing style and motifs on that album it's definitely not bad.

Very disappointing album from a band I consider Death Metal royalty. Why? Repetitiveness. The album offers no variation what so ever, it is basically all the same. Forst few tracks were fine, but it got stale quick. Oh well, let us hope they bounce back strong with the next one!

The riffs are great, the band is on point, but oof, that production kills this one. Could have been up there with Majesty and Decay if not for that high, polished sheen.

Excellent release by these death metal legends. One of their best albums and better than "Majesty and Decay" in my opinion. The title track, "Echoes of Despair", "Indoctrinate" (One of their best songs!), "God Complex", "Bound to Order" and "The Great Sleep" are my favorites. One of the best death albums of 2013. Immolation are one of the most consistent bands in the death metal scene. m/
