A superb album from start to finish. This is probably Moonspell's heaviest release. It has Fernando Ribeiro's most aggressive singing in all of their career, excellent riffs, a very dark atmosphere, nice orchestral keyboards and some of the best songs in their catalogue.

This one has a feel similiar to the lastest offering, but just not quite as trashy. By this point it feels like Moonspell have either lost it or are just churning out the same mind-numbing goth rock at the listeners expense. This was just a boring album, a boring listen, and a disappointment considering past material from these guys.

Moonspell was one of my fav bands, but this album is awful...After such beautiful albums, it's a shame that they returned to that boring and uninspiring death metal sound.

After a decade of pushing forward and experiments that brought us excellent albums, Moonspell return to the roots with an anachronistic album, even by Metal standards.
The album has it's moments and most of the tracks are suitable for live shows but Memorial is very out of date.
