I would love this band if they didn't chug so damn much. rThey still chug, but damn this a pretty damn sweet album. Cleans are absurdly improved from their last album, and there's actually some pretty good riffs sprinkled in. Screams are still sick.

The epitome of refined genericore. Strong vocals and some impressive lead guitar bits haul Creation|Destruction above the mediocrity the formulaic songwriting warrants. Fit For a King end up being greater than the sum of their parts here.

Huge step up from their last album. To state the obvious, the cleans are a million times
better, the harsh vocals are just as great as before but sound a little more matured. The
breakdowns are just as great as they were in the previous release although, their is the odd
breakdown that feels forced, but doesn't greatly hinder the overall quality of the music.
Lyrically this is great. Just like most Christian bands they speak about forgiveness, grace
and love. But there is a lot of personal and dark material here that just suits the music so
well. Overall great album that while nothing special, is a solid listen and worth your time.

While I actually enjoyed the cleans on the last album, these are undoubtedly better. The screams are very rstrong indeed. They did rely on breakdowns a bit too much, but it still sounds awesome when complimented rby soaring choruses.

I really wanted to like this album, and even though it is a big step up from their old album, it just has too many breakdowns and chugs. I felt like this band had potential and they squandered it. If I could give it a 2.75, I would.
