I was listening to this album on a plane once, and fell asleep. When I woke up I could not tell the droning of the jet engines from the music. It was a hypnotic, euphoric experience.

While it is easy to sum up what the album sounds like, I feel this album more than I usually do with music with 'real material'. Like most ambient or drone music, the album is more about minimal sound output and evoking an emotion or feeling while passively listening. On GOOD sound equipment, I think this might be my album to want to drown out the world but not feel happy or lofty like other artists in the ambient or drone field.

73 minutes of droning guitar and bass that is much more interesting than it sounds. Subtitled 'Special Low Frequency Version,' Earth 2 is an engrossing, foreboding record possessing a palpable and guttural atmosphere and simultaneous undercurrents of dread and recognition.
