This and Shadows in the Light are two of the most underrated dm albums of all time. Title track, Dead to Me, Son of Iniquity, Crown the Liar and At Mourning's Twilight are some of the best songs Immo has ever made so ahrd. M///

The fact that this album was disappointing, yet is still a 3.5 shows how amazing Immolation are. For some reason the unique dissonant squealing technicality of their paat 4 spectacular releases is turned down a notch. It is still there, and this album shows greater variation than most previous efforts. Therefore it is still great, if simpler than one would expect from Immolation.
