3.5 great | CRX | February 4th 16 | Nowadays a fan favorite. It failed to top the charts at the time of it's release. David Paich called it their Queen(ish) album, and I agree with him. The similarities are there. See the chorus from "English Eyes" vs. the first lines of "Long Away" (from Queen's A Day at the Races). The influence surely came from their producer Geoff Workman, who was Roy Thomas Baker's engineer in the 70's. A mixture of average songs ("English Eyes", "I Think I Could Stand You Forever", "Turn Back" and "If It's the Last Night") and some which have a spark but don't carry it all the way through ("Gift With a Golden Gun", "Live for Today", "A Million Miles Away" and "Goodbye Elenore"). Nothing more, nothing less but an experimental album. The slick album cover says it best.

3.0 good | stagemaster | June 25th 13 | An almost straight-forward 80's rock album - quite reminiscent of Boston. But it doesn't escape mediocrity despite some excellent guitar solos.rRecommended tracks: "Gift with a golden gun", "Goodbye Elenore", "Turn back"
