Strong 3.5 - Everyone always loves to brag about how this album is where ,,Mathcore was born'' well considering rhow much this album actually borrows from ,,Deadguy'' I would have to disagree...but yes these guys were truly rUnique. ,,American nervoso'' is unique, fast spastic and technical, but it does all of this without sounding ,,just'' rlike another chaotic band, Botch does it differently, their music is much more structured and scripted, everything rmakes sense, and that is what is so special about this band, they can Pull of this extreme and fast sound, without rmaking something that is just way too difficult for average hardcore fan, yet they are able to experiment with rheavy, squeeky and chaotic playing. Another great example of their experimentation would be the ambient half of r,,Oma'' or the industrially infused ,,Thank god for worker bees'' Highlights: ,,Hutton's Great Heat Engine'', ,,Oma'', r,,Thank god the worker Bees'',,Hives''
