This could be an excellent album, but some unfortunate decisions ruin it slightly for me. One of
them is including 'Petrified Florist' into the tracklist, which is by far weaker than any other
track on here. The other is the choice of vocals on some of the songs. On these, Wagner decides to
sing in a high pitch voice with which he clearly struggles with, ultimately not playing to his
strenghts. To me these vocals even sound like a parody at times. It's just unfortunate to hear
such tastefully arranged songs together with these vocals. Luckily he does not do it very often,
which still leaves a handful of well-written and well-performed cuts.
