Pentimento's self-titled LP is basically the perfection of everything they've shown on their
previous releases: great vocal harmonies, incredibly tight drumming, and a phenomenal use of
dynamics all topped off by top-notch production. The 11 tracks are cohesive and consistent
and are all memorable in their own right. One thing to be said about the band is that their
overall presentation and lyrical content is very straightforward serious in nature, and at
times can come off as a bit overdone. That aside, the band's debut full length delivers in
every right and is right up there with other 2012 releases from the genre's bigger acts like
Title Fight and Basement.
