Black metal pioneers Gorgoroth have done it again, delivering a dose of metal that will leave your ears bleeding. (In a good way, of course). The opener, Wound Upon Wound, delivers a relentless assault that never lets up. The other songs are very good also, but the one song that stood out was God Seed. Here, Infernus's guitar skills are shown without mercy. Gaahl's shrieks, along with Infernus's (melodic?!?) guitar, combined with King's bass and Frost's pounding drums make the entire album worthwile. The closer, Prosperity And Beauty, is a perfect ending, showcasing some of the melody heard on God Seed. If you are a fan of Black Metal, listen to this album immediately. You will not be disappointed.
