The quintessential Dolly album. Released as one of her very first solo efforts, it contains undoubtedly her two biggest tracks ("I Will Always Love You" and "Jolene") which helped launch the start of a huge solo career for Ms. Parton. Even on the album's weaker tracks, Dolly's voice shines through.

Just the near-perfect mix of instrumentals and excellent vocal talent(s) all throughout this album. Younger Dolly is definitely one of my newly favored female vocalists (certainly as my current country favorite).
